San Martino village square- Garberweg - left towards Steinhaus - farmstead “Braunlechn” - return to the town via the Feldbauernweg.
or: Waalweg (water channel path) up to Steinhaus - past Braunlechn farmstead - go right onto route number 7 - after approx. 1hr take route number 4 on the valley side - past the Schildhöfe Baumkirch and Gereuth (shield farmsteads) and back to S. Martino.

Turn right after the children’s play area in S. Martino into Prantachstraße - go up to the Holzerhof. From there, down to the Gasthaus Haselstaude and to the Passerdammweg back to the Brauhotel Martinerhof.

Cross the street to the wooden bridge by the Tennis bar - go left and then straight on up to St. Leonhard - by the bus stop go along the St. Barbara Weg up to the church - past the Gasthaus Brühwirt to the Happerweg (hiking route E5) - to the Schildhof Happerg (shield farmstead) - follow the markings for the “Andreas Hofer, Rundweg” up to the Gerlosweg - turn off left onto Kammerveitstraße - after approx 300m, go right towards S. Martino industrial area - return to the Brauhotel Martinerhof via the Passerdammweg.

Cross the street to the wooden bridge by the Tennis bar - right and then straight on towards Meran/Merano - in 2km, go over the bridge (saw mill) and follow the signposted route to the water fall - return to the Brauhotel Martinerhof via the Passerdammweg.

Cross the street past the tennis bar - go right along the Passerdammweg up to St. Johannes bridge - follow the signposts for Golfplatz Passeier - up to the Bucherkeller (opportunity for a rest and refreshments) or pass the Bucherkeller and after about 100m go right, down to the Passer river and along it back to S. Martino.

The 11 Schildhöfe in the Passeiertal/Val Passiria are ancient castellated farmsteads (13th century) with exceptional positions, decorated with interesting frescos or sun dials. At different stations, the informative themed hiking route tells you about the peculiarities of the Schildhöfe and more. Route description: go on the Passerdammweg up to Saltaus - the themed route starting point is by the Schildhof Saltaus (Saltaus farmstead) - go up to the Schildhof Haupold - the hiking trail leads past the stations to chestnut groves, forests, Cardinal Haller memorial and the Passiria court of law up to the Schildhof Granstein and then along the Passer rive back to Saltaus.

Go on foot from S. Martino: cross the street to the wooden bridge by the tennis bar and left to St. Leonhard - left at the tourist office and walk along the main street - turn right and head up the hill on the Kirchweg - the first street to the left into the sheep field and go right at the first fork - go along the street up to the Brunst Alm and via the suspension bridge up to the Jaufenburg - via the Schlossweg past the Heiligkreuz chapel and right onto the “Sonnenrundgang” circuit - follow the signs up to the Schlossweg and return to the town centre via the Jaufenstraße.

Head towards Meran/Merano by car - go right up the hill after the bridge in the town of Kalmtal-Neuhaus - along the mountain road up to the Magdfeld parking area - from there, the journey continues on foot for approx. 1hr to the Naserhof (live music on Tuesdays).

Drive to Pfelders by car or using the scheduled busses, hike to the Lazinshof via the Zeppichl and continue to the Lazinalm

On the path from the parking area in Ulfas, past the Kratzegg-Hof straight to the lower Ulfasalm - return the same way.

From S. Martino to Moos following the Timmelsjochstraße past the Gasthaus Hochfirst up to bend number 5 - after the parking area, follow path number 43 A up to the Oberglaneggeralm and then continue up to the lake. Round trip: go on route 43 to the Seeber Alm and then up the mountain steeply to the Oberglaneggeralm and back to the parking area.

Go by car to Walten and towards the Jaufen pass up to the last bend (Römerkehre) - as there are only a few parking spaces there, it’s advisable to follow a steep concrete road at the end of which there is a large parking area - from here, follow route number 12 up to the Flecknerhütte snack stop.

Go by car to Moos - from there continue to Stuls - leave your car at the parking area by the church and from there, follow route number 14.
